TOP 3 BENEFITS:
PRODUCT INFORMATION
The PalKombi Gripping palletizer for plastic crates boasts numerous assets, including versatility, efficiency, simplicity of operation, and full safety.
Its versatility is remarkable: it is suitable for low/medium speed applications and for both low-level and high-level palletization, and caters for half and full-depth crates. It can handle all pallet standards up to 1,250 mm. it offers great layout flexibility with an in-line / 90° outfeed configuration. Quick adjustment is also guaranteed for frequent changeovers (patterns and pallet sizes).
In terms of efficiency, the PalKombi Gripping palletizer for plastic crates offers improved ergonomics and safety:
With its optimized design and enhanced crate handling, the PalKombi Gripping is exceedingly simple for operators to use, offering easy access on all sides and minimal floor space requirements. It can be easily fitted into existing lines. The design is simple and standard parts are employed.
Safe operator intervention is our foremost priority and the machine has been designed with this in mind. It is fitted with safety barriers and mesh guards (2500mm) around all the moving parts in accordance with EC standards. Additionally, it is equipped with safety micro-switches installed on the access gates in order to stop the machine in case of any human intervention.
In terms of sustainable development, the Sidel PalKombi Gripping palletizer is fitted with IE2 high-efficiency drives as standard, and emits a very low noise level.
The dosing belt divides and feeds the palletizer with crates according to predefined receipts. Crate infeed conveyors can be on single or double lane.
The crates arrive from a single or double lane divider dispensing them into different lanes. Plastic plates are installed on the rollers in order to correctly convey crates according to predefined patterns. The divider is equipped with inverter control speed adjustment for different formats.
There are two types of rotation devices:
- Upper type: used for the majority of crates.
- Lower type: mostly used for half-depth crates.
Layer preparation and pick-up table (in-line version):
Lifting : Central lifting composed by two columns and a servo-driven trolley. A counterweight system allows smooth handling of a layer. The layer is taken away from the pick-p table and released on the pallet. Safe operation due to pneumatic parachutes that prevent any risks of layer falling in case of power failure.
Gripping head (hook version): Hooks, pneumatically controlled, hang the whole layer of crates usually by the handles.
Gripping head (side pressure version):
Crater conveyor
Safe operator intervention
Layer pattern change (semi-automatic ninety degrees and in line version)
