The world is watching to see how we rise to the challenges of safeguarding our planet sustainably for the future. At Sidel, we take this responsibility seriously. Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do.
The Paris Agreement set out clear targets for the reduction of carbon emissions by 2100, to limit to well below 2°C the global warming vs. pre-industrial age, and to pursue all efforts to limit it to 1.5°C.
In 2022 we’ve exceeded our own ambitions and been able to upgrade the targets we set ourselves in 2021.
We will now be in line with the 1.5°C trajectory, reducing our emissions by 50% across our sites and facilities by 2030 (Scope 1&2), and by 27.5% for everything that we purchase and sell (Scope 3).
We know that no single company or individual can bring about sustainable transformation alone. We need to work together, side by side.
