Your opportunity

As a Sourcing Project Manager 3PE, you will be a key business partner for the Engineering & Project Management (EPM) organization in the region, including stakeholders such as PMP, PME, System Design and ISM. Your primary responsibility is to manage the Sourcing activities for Third-Party Equipment (3PE) at Project level and ensure alignment with the Global Sourcing Strategy. You will also manage the Supplier relationships at regional level and coordinate escalations related to project deliverables (including delivery and quality performances).

Your Mission

  • Sourcing Business Partner: Collaborate closely with the EPM organization in the specific region to provide the Strategic Sourcing support for projects involving 3PE.
  • Regional Engagement: Coordinate with regional teams when preparing quotes and bidding offers for customers. Develop and implement a structured engagement framework in collaboration with the QTCE team and regions.
  • Category Strategy Implementation: Lead the implementation of category Sourcing Strategies across the region during Precontracting phasis, ensuring consistency and alignment with regional and global goals.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate project launches and monitor key milestones within the 3PE Sourcing organization, working with commodity sourcing teams to ensure timely execution.
  • Escalation Management: Serve as the first point of escalation for project-related issues, particularly concerning quality and On-Time In-Full (OTIF) performance. Coordinate closely with Category Managers and Supplier Quality and Performance teams to resolve issues swiftly and effectively.

Your Profile

Level of education and languages:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of French, Italian, Chinese or Portuguese is a plus.

Required experience and skills:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing (incl. Global Purchases roles) or Project Management in an international setting.
  • Proven experience managing Sourcing for project-based activities, particularly in industries like packaging, beverages, or manufacturing.
  • Excellent communication skills to manage relationships with stakeholders across different sub-regions and functions.
  • Very strong commercial negotiation skills with international companies
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, particularly in handling escalations related to supplier performance, quality, and project timelines.
