You will work in collaboration with different contacts from the design office to Project management, and more.
You will collaborate to improve the performance and profitability of a major player in the beverage, food and personal care product packaging industry in a context of increasing sustainability and reducing waste.
Your Mission
As a Sourcing Quotation Specialist - Innovation, your main missions will focused on :
- Collaborate with our Innovation, purchasing and production supply department in order to select suppliers and thus facilitate industrialization, the transition to pre-series or series manufacturing.
- Analyze technicality the parts in order to choose the best suppliers who can meet the supply needs from our supplier panel.
- Lead RFQ process in coordination with Sourcing Commodities guidelines and startegies in compliance to Group processes and procedures.
- Analyze quotation received in terms of price and delivery times and select the supplier to award the business.
- Document all the actions that were taken during the RFQ process, including the number of bids sent out, the number of bids received and the final decision.
- Update IR/SL in local ERPs.
- Support and/or drive the simplification in Quote to cash process
- Effectively communicate and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Your Profile
In your role of a Sourcing Quotation Specialist - Innovation, you are graduated from a bachelor degree and justify the following competences and experience :
- Good knowledge of general mechanics, different means of obtaining parts (machine tool, Laser cutting/water jet), supply, logistics
- Easy reading of technical drawings; knowledge of Sidel machines would be a plus
- French and English fluent
- Optional Language skills: Italian and/or Chinese is an advantage
- Proactive
- Analytical mindset
- Problem solving oriented
- Very good knowledge in Excel and PowerPoint
