Your opportunity
Sidel Mexico is looking for a Quality, Health, and Safety Specialist to support our Safety Department as a QHSE Specialist for the installation of equipment and services in South America, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Your Mission
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
- Enforce safety protocols and guidelines for installation and services.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and secure necessary permits.
- Collaborate with project managers to improve installation processes.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks to enhance productivity.
- Train and assess teams on quality, safety, and best practices.
- Gather customer feedback and implement improvements.
- Ensure timely resolution of customer issues.
- Maintain records of installation activities, including safety measures.
- Prepare quality and safety reports for management.
- Monitor and evaluate external contractors and vendors for compliance.
- Oversee PPE availability and ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Interact with suppliers for evaluations and corrective actions.
- Track incident reporting, conduct investigations, and communicate with authorities.
- Conduct safety training programs and new-employee orientations.
Your Profile
Level of education and languages:
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety or related field
- Fluent level of English/Spanish is a must.
- Portuguese is an advantage.
Required experience and skills:
- DC-5 Certification Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics.
- In depth knowledge of legislation of normative Mexicana de la STPS
- Minimum 5 years of experience teaching safety standards that apply to hazards in Latin America
- Beverage Industry experience
- QHS&E Certifications
- Availability to travel up to 60% in Latin America and 10% to other regions worldwide.
- Skill in performing safety inspections ensuring compliance with
- Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
- Ability to develop, implement, and enforce safety programs, procedures, and protocols.
- Skill in performing safety inspections and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and Mexican regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
