Are you passionate about driving excellence in project management and system design? We are seeking a dynamic Engineering Project Management Excellence Manager to join our team in Parma. In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the Director of EPM Excellence and I&C Engineering, playing a key part in our projects both precontracting and execution.

Your Mission

QUOTE PROJECTS

  • Ensure QTC-E process (including System Design) guidelines and standards are followed
  • Review lessons learned identified at precontracting stage and facilitating continuous improvement actions identified
  • Provid audit trails for large projects to ensure compliance
  • Assess Project Managers and Layout Designers in accordance with career path and drive competence develpment activities wherever and whenever necessary
  • Become a source of training, guidance and mentoring for Project Managers and Layout Designers

INITIATE PROJECTS

  • Support timely execution of Projects’ Kick-Off with all stakeholders required
  • Suggest applicability of lessons learned from other project

MANAGE AND CONTROL PROJECTS

  • Enable EPM (Project Managers and System Design) to better deliver projects
  • Understand dependencies and risks between projects
  • Ensure maintenance of Project Document repository with contribution of project team members
  • Provide consultancy, advice and support on demand to stakeholders and project team
  • Become a source of training, guidance and mentoring for Project Managers and Layout Designers
  • Support whereas required the execution of Corrective Actions to resolve project issues
  • Ensure that stakeholders have up-to-date and accurate information, with a frequency and format they understand
  • Have a direct impact on the company P&L by cutting out project overruns
  • Define a set of project management standards, guidelines and methods that can be used consistently by Project managers and Layout Designers
  • Ensure QTC-E process (including System Design) guidelines and standards are followed
  • Review project lessons learned identified and facilitating continuous improvement actions identified
  • Provide audit trails for large projects to ensure compliance
  • Manage a resource forecast to help understand resource availability for projects
  • Assess Project Managers and Layout Designers in accordance with career path

CLOSE PROJECTS

  • Become the guardian of the project knowledge base
  • Maintaining Project Lessons Learned repository
  • Implement continuous improvement program for portfolio and resource management

Your Profile

We are seeking a candidate with a Master’s Degree in Engineering or a related field, fluent in English (additional languages are a plus), and preferably holding a PMI certification.

The ideal candidate will have 5-10+ years of project management experience, ideally in a management role within the beverage industry, with knowledge of the Sidel Portfolio being a distinct advantage.

Expertise in project financials, installation, commissioning scope and challenges is essential, along with proficiency in MS Office, Project, and ERP/SAP systems.

We value excellent communication skills, a proactive problem-solving attitude, and a commitment to high performance and accountability.

Flexibility is key, as this role requires minimal travel (up to 25% of the time).
