Digital Project Manager Execution (W/M/D)

The Project Manager Digital Execution (W/M/D) is responsible for the complete management of an industrial IT project from initial contact with the customer to final acceptance of the installation. He is the privileged interlocutor of the customer and Sidel partners for all technical and organizational points directly related to the project.

Strong automation skills (ethernet network automation)
Professional level English: good speaking, written and read
Around 50% of the working time on business trips
your missions will consist of:
•Compilation and analysis of all the base data and constraints of the project
•Coordinating the interfaces between the various internal and external project stakeholders
•Defining or validates the network architecture of the project
•Defiing the list of equipment to be purchased
•Assembling and testing the hardware configuration, with the support of digital backoffice
•analyzing and sometimes adapting PLC software
•Ensuring onsite or remote commissioning of Sidel digital solutions
•Writing regular reports on the progress of the project
•Training the customer's staff in the use of the digital solution implemented
•Acting as technical support to salespeople and can sometimes travel to customer facilities for sales presentations
you have at least 3 years of experience in a similar position as an automation engineer in a similar environment.
Master or equivalent in IT or Industrial IT Engineer
• Good level of technical English, fluent for customer interactions
• An additional foreign language will be appreciated
• Basic knowledge about PLC programming
• Know how to propose and configure simple network architectures and IT infrastructures
• Good knowledge of databases and reporting
• Good practical knowledge in electricity
• Mastery of project management techniques
• Mastery of a programming language is a plus (C #, java, python, html / css, ...)
• Enthusiast for frequent travels mainly in Europe, but also Middle East and Africa
