Your opportunity
As Sales Manager, your role is to develop for a specific area the sales and the profitability of Competek products, you will join our team in India. Competek, has been created after the integration of COMEP (France) in 2019 and Pet Engineering (ITALY) in 2018 in the Sidel group. Our activities are the engineering of new packaging, manufacturing of molds and parts for line conversion for the plastic industry. Competek combines 20 years of experience to supply innovative solution, able to personalize its solutions to customers' needs with a world-wide presence.
Your Mission
- Increase sales and profitability of Competek, reaching the targets and goals
set for his/her area
- Define and implement action plans, adapting the sales strategy to his/her
area
- Prepare and finalize the commercial offers, adapted to customers
specifications while proposing additional services when possible
- Sell and negotiate Competek portfolio, according to rules and processes of
the Company
- Plan customer contacts and visits
- Maintain and expand his/her customer base
- Provide forecasts and report to relevant stakeholders
- Collect and analyze market and competitor information on his/her area
- Define reliable solutions with customers in case of overdue
- Validate new customers according to Company rules
- 2 possible locations - Pune or Gurgaon, India
Your Profile
Level of Education and Languages:
- Bachelor Degree or
equivalent;
- Proficient with Microsoft
Office products for use in a sales management environment
- Fluency in English
- Foreign language as per
geography is a plus
Required Experience and Skills:
- Minimum 5 years
experience in capital equipment sales and territory/business area management,
particularly in the packaging
and/or rigid plastic industry
- Established customer base
and network within the rigid container market
- Significant rigid
container equipment, market and industry knowledge
- Market evaluation and
analysis skills, planning skills; ability to develop and present a value
proposition
- Good communication and
presentation skills
- Sales management
experience; excellent negotiation skills
- Ability to travel (>50%)
