Your opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst with a strong background in Automation and Mechanical Engineering to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing machine data, developing data pipelines and models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal machine performance and support. This role involves a hands-on approach to understanding machine operations and applying data-driven insights to improve efficiency and performance.

Your Mission

Main Responsibilities:
  • Machine Data Analysis: Understand and convey the workings of machines. Collaborate to develop data pipelines and models, analyze machine data, and communicate findings with Services and customers to ensure machines meet performance expectations.
  • Development Skills: Demonstrate a data-driven mindset, with the ability to quickly learn machine operations and data correlations. An engineering background is highly desirable.
  • Strategic Goals - Pilot Program: Participate in a pilot program in the US, starting with 1-2 weeks of training with the Line Performance Expert and Data Analytics team to learn line analysis and existing data models. Work alongside a service team member during the pilot, which is expected to last 3-4 months at a customer plant, with potential for extension based on progress.

Your Profile

Candidate Requirements:
  • Data Analysis: Proficiency in analyzing data to extract actionable insights and make informed decisions.
  • Reporting & Data Analytics: Capability to prepare detailed reports and apply data analytics, with machine learning experience being a plus, to solve complex issues.
  • Automation & Mechanical Engineering: Familiarity with data analysis in automation. Ability to monitor and control machine data related to performance, energy usage, maintenance, and process quality across the Americas. Skilled in identifying deviations and understanding root causes.
  • Collaboration: Strong ability to work with Central and Regional Product Support and Service teams to provide optimal support and maintain line conditions.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • Familiarity with automation and mechanical engineering principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
