Sidel is looking for TPM Performance Specialists. This role is key to Sidel’s roll out of advanced services; especially in the area of TPM Performance Based Services where Sidel is committed to boosting and sustaining the performance of our customers’ most important lines.
The TPM Performance Specialist will be part of an elite team who deploy to customers’ sites to coach and develop the local teams of operators and maintainers so that they have the skills to manage Sidel’s high-speed, high-technology lines. At the same time, he/she will do problem solv-ing/ analysis on the most problematic losses of the line. All of this will be done hand-in-hand with the local team, and using the best of TPM* methods and tools.
This role is an advanced role requiring a high level of technical knowledge, good coaching and communication skills, and a willingness to learn and use TPM/Lean best practices. He/she will be expected to become an expert in Performance /OEE concepts – both theoretical and practical – all to be delivered for impact on customers’ lines. Lastly, the role will require a good leadership pro-file as he/she will be expected to lead less experienced engineers. Additionally, he/she should be capable to engage the plant’s management team about the progress of the project and the success of the collaboration with the local team.
Your Mission
- Responsible to lead activities and provide coaching on TPM best practices to maintain and operate the line.
- Responsible to manage/execute the project plan on time, in-full.Modifying as necessary to reach Line Efficiency improvement Targets!
- Responsible for Projects results and customer satisfaction
- To direct less experienced Sidel engineers in how to use TPM / performance improvement tools.
- To execute and lead maintenance and troubleshooting activities; coaching while doing so.
- To liaise/ discuss with plant management about the weekly/daily project activities and why they are important.
- You will be expected to become an expert in:
- TPM knowledge with capability to integrate with customer’s TPM/Lean system
- Knowledge of Performance / OEE and Loss mgmt concepts.
- Knowledge of Evo-On Performance
Your Profile
Level of education and languages:
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent
- English; Spanish is a plus
- Microsoft office: Excel – Power point – word
- Communications and Leadership skills
Required
experience and skills:
- Experience as a field engineer and capable in maintenance overhauls and troubleshooting.
- Blowing machine and/or labelling machine; mechanical or mechatronic profile is preferred.
- Multi Skill Expert engineer who can work on different machines is preferred.
- Experience working in beverage/ food production factory is a plus.
- Candidate must have an aptitude and interest in coaching and developing people.Experience as a Trainer is a plus.
- Knowledge/ practical experience in TPM methods and tools or lean belt certification is a plus.
- Rigorous and disciplined approach to project management.
- Strong goal focus / orientation.
- Strong communication skills, with ability to organize and motivate;
- Availability to travel 60%-75% of the time.
