Accounting & Tax Manager (M/F)

The Accounting & Tax manager plays a key role in the finance organisation of our Portuguese site. He/She is in charge of accounting closing (following Portuguese standards gaap and IFRS), tax areas (preparation, control and various declarations) and Cash flow monitoring. The position is based in Santa Maria da Feira (Portugal), a dynamic site with various career growth opportunities. Your Mission

As a Accounting & Tax Manager you are responsible for the performance and optimization of the accounting & tax activities in your site in full compliance with international and local accounting & tax standards as well as Group internal policies, procedures and corporate governance rules.

Your missions and responsibilities are including:

• Guarantee the sincerity of the accounts and compliance with tax legislation.
• Define and enforce the procedures and rules related to accounting.
• Work in connection with management control, in order to provide the data necessary for the analysis of performance.
• Oversee accounting and tax closings.
• Control and monitor the operations carried out by Accounting team.
• Animate, motivate and supervise the team as well as external resources.
• Prepare reports as per International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Ensure overall performance of accounting activities.
• Ensure optimization of the assigned tasks (tools, organization, support).
   

Your Profile

Theoretical knowledge:

• Certified accountant
• Tax declaration
• IFRS Reporting
• English imperative
• Mastery of  SAP and office tools

Professional experience:

• Senior accountant 10 - 15 years acquired in an accounting firm, or in an industrial environment
