Your opportunity

Reporting to the Equipment Portfolio Controlling Director, you will act as Finance Business Partner to the portfolio VP on the activities related to the performance of the portfolios, providing the right financial insights by challenging and building within cross functional teams the relevant action plans to increase Sidel performance understanding and profitability.

Your Mission

Business Partnership:

  • Copilot locally with Portfolio VP and his team and drive performance across different functions (Supply Chain, EP&I, Services).
  • Drive Portfolio performance, from insights to actions, ensure compliance and controls, and manage risks. Control tower of the performance of our Portfolios and product, through view of costs, opportunities, price, and market.
  • Pricing financial view, Quotation support and pricing contribution
  • Portfolio performance
  • Product performance and  Product strategy
  • Participate to R&D strategy with R&D controller by bringing portfolio strategy and priorities according to Sidel strategy

Cost Control (actual and forecast):

  • Product cost target when relevant (defined with Supply chain and EP&I)
  • Strong link with Central FP&A and SC in margin analysis and forecast.
  • Drive the EPI contribution and financial performance on the portfolio view

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Collaborate on yearly budgets and quarterly / monthly forecasts and outlooks in collaboration with department heads and managers.
  • Monitor budget adherence and provide insight, comments, and action plans in front of budget deviations.
  • Collaborate with different functions and present an action plan to maximize profitability.
  • Propose adjustments to forecasts based on changing market conditions and business needs and deliver action plan to optimize profitability.
  • Active participation to the 3 years Business Plan, annual Budget, quarterly Outlook and quarterly closing.
    Compliance and Governance:
  • Ensure a strict application of compliance in the organization with Sidel PPG’s
    Support internal and external audits by providing necessary financial data and documentation.

Your Profile

Master degree or equivalent in Finance
A Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Business controlling
Strong controlling technical skills, solid knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) accounting principles
Advanced knowledge of controlling processes & business planning principles
Strong experience in SAP FI/CO (Finance / Controlling) in an international and industrial group
Advance practice of IS Tools including any other digitalization tools (Qliksense, Power BI...)
Strong interpersonal skills, team player
Ability to lead in a matrix organization
Result orientation
Fluent in English, written and spoken
