Step into a pivotal role as an Industrial Engineering Mechatronic Specialist, where you will have the opportunity to influence the entire lifecycle of our cutting-edge equipment, from the initial Design Phase (PDP) through the manufacturing life of the equipment. This is your chance to develop and implement essential tools and recommendations that ensure we supply, manufacture, test, and install our products with the highest standards of safety, quality, cost-efficiency, and lead time (LT). In this role, you will be at the forefront of exciting projects, collaborating with diverse teams to achieve customer project targets and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise will be crucial in shaping the future of our products and processes.

Your Mission

  • Oversee the launch of new equipment/deals in production from the Kick-Off Meeting (KOM) to the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT).
  • Create standard work procedures, working instructions, and master routing based on the configuration map.
  • Serve as the team's reference for electrical activities, including wiring baseline configuration and wiring layout definition.
  • Design tools and jigs needed to assemble, manufacture, and test components to meet quality, cost, and lead time (LT) requirements.
  • Participate in design reviews and the introduction of new electrical components in collaboration with the engineering and sourcing teams.
  • Contribute to the qualification of modules in manufacturing activities.
  • Engage in continuous improvement of production activities related to electrical wiring, applying Lean and Six Sigma principles.
  • Support the production team to ensure the achievement of customer project targets.
  • Propose corrective and preventive actions in coordination with the production team.
  • Define master production data, including routing, sequence, hours...
  • Support the analysis of manpower hours for all activities per deal.
  • Apply Lean and Six Sigma best practices to analyze data, investigate root causes of production process variability, and plan and execute actions involving cross-functional teams.
  • Lead initiatives for year-over-year cycle time reductions.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams, leading objectives and meeting deadlines.

Your Profile

We are looking for a motivated individual with a Master’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial Engineering) or a related field, who possesses a strong foundation in electrical diagrams and wiring, as well as mechanical skills. Proficiency in MS Office is essential, and knowledge of SAP is a plus.

You should be fluent in English, with French being an added advantage. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive, analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work both autonomously and collaboratively in cross-functional, international teams. Strong leadership and communication skills are crucial, as you will be engaging with various stakeholders. Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma tools and methodologies is a significant advantage, and candidates should be prepared for occasional travel to support project needs.
