Your Mission

As part of the Filling Lab team, the Test Engineer will be responsible for planning, executing, and analyzing tests related to filling valves, ensuring their performance, reliability, and efficiency.

Main responsibilities:

  • Define technical specifications and test plans for new and existing filling valve developments.
  • Conduct performance and reliability tests on filling valves, analyzing results and providing recommendations for improvements.
  • Apply knowledge of fluid dynamics to assess and optimize filling system performance.
  • Perform system simulations and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulations to enhance product development.
  • Develop and execute Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) to identify potential risks and ensure product robustness.
  • Manage testing processes autonomously, ensuring timely execution and adherence to project deadlines.
  • Utilize SolidWorks for 3D modeling and SAP for data and process management.
  • Apply data analysis techniques, including machine learning and MATLAB, to optimize test results and improve product design.
  • Lead and coordinate test-related activities within the team, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration.

Your Profile

  • Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
  • Professional Qualifications and Experience:
  • Experience in testing and validation of mechanical components, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
  • Strong knowledge of fluid dynamics and system simulations.
  • Expertise in test planning, execution, and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in DFMEA methodology and risk assessment.
  • Experience with SolidWorks (or other CAD software) and SAP is a plus.
  • Knowledge of data analysis, machine learning, and MATLAB is an advantage.
  • Ability to perform CFD simulations to support product development.
