Join Sidel S.p.A. in our dynamic Dry Field area Department, where you will play a crucial role in enhancing our customer experience during service and project interventions. This position offers a unique blend of on-site engagement at customer locations and vital back-office support for our Field Team and GPS office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the installation, start-up, commissioning, and final testing of our state-of-the-art Sidel End Of Line equipment, with a specialization in Automation. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with our customers, ensuring they receive top-notch service and support while contributing to innovative projects that drive our industry forward.

Your Mission

• Perform installation, start-up commissioning and final test of the Sidel EOL equipment supplied to Customer site, specialized on Automation profile.
• Develop a good understanding of the Customer needs to provide objective advice and to ensure Customer satisfaction
• Test and evaluate equipment, performance at Customer plant based on technical, contractual and safety specification
• Properly handle, checking and transferring, all the non-conformities
• Execute RCA on equipment automation issues, implementing the consequent plan of recovery and corrective action
• Prepare the job progress chart and technical weekly report in reference to carried-out activities

Your Profile

We are seeking candidates with a strong technical background, ideally from a technical school or holding an Electronic Engineering degree.

Experience with end-of-line machines and a proven track record in installation and commissioning activities are essential.

A solid understanding of electrical fundamentals, including safety equipment, sensors, motion control, servo drivers, and inverters, will be highly valued.

Proficiency in Siemens PLC programming (S7, SCL, TIA Portal) is required, while familiarity with Allen-Bradley PLCs is a significant plus.

Additionally, experience with Elau motion control systems and Fanuc robotics, as well as Siemens and Allen-Bradley HMI systems using ZenOn applications, will set you apart.
