Microbiology Specialist & Lab Coordinator

Coordinate Microbiology Lab activities and drive microbiology validation protocols to qualify machines before shipment to customers.

Your Mission

• Coordinate lab activities and machine qualification tests with regular reporting Lab Manager on regular basis
• Structured reporting to Lab Manager to ensure a high level of reliability and provide visibility of the ongoing activities
• Regular communication with Laboratory Manager for update on planning, results, eventual issues
• Qualification of PREDIS and/or CAPDIS before their shipment to customer site according to the validation protocol
• Prepare and operate the Capdis and Predis for the execution of the tests following a predefined protocol
• Install instrumentation, collect physical parameters to support the trials and test report editing
• Analysis report drafting and communication to Laboratory Manager for final review
• Culture media, broths and recovery solution preparation
• Culture media, broths, recovery solution preparation, bacterial strains dilutions preparation and packaging inoculation
• Microbiological lab analysis: serial dilutions, plate counting, filtrations, etc.
• Lab analysis results reading, interpretation and elaboration
• Lab consumable material stocks update and provisions, devices calibration and maintenance
• Ensure compliance with Safety rules and Laboratory environment constraints, wear adequate DPI

Your Profile

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent
• Microbiology or food industry degree
• Food Science and Technology degree
• Aseptic and Laboratory environment experience (Safety and methods)
• Aseptic machines and technology knowledge
• HACCP Knowledge
