Votre opportunité

We’re looking for a talented individual to be part of an exciting opportunity where you’ll contribute to the development of new equipment and cutting-edge technologies. In this role, you'll lead simulation activities, improve models for equipment reliability, and work with advanced engineering tools to optimize performance. This position offers a unique chance to be at the forefront of innovation, working in a dynamic environment where reliability and performance are the top priorities. If you're passionate about driving technological advancements and making an impact, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Votre mission

Participate in the development of new equipment and new technologies by providing the results of calculations and simulations
Main responsibilities:
  • Participate in the development of new equipment and technologies as well as concept studies.
  • Lead simulation and computation activities resulting from requests from project leaders in a timely manner.
  • Supply a report on the computation and simulation done to the project leaders with the recommendation to improve the concept study.
  • Create and continuously improve simulation models to ensure equipment reliability by correlating results to reality (bench, field) and by working closely with the Reliability Labs teams.
  • Create programs in the SIDEL computer environment to improve the calculation and simulation methods and their efficiency.
  • Apply the computation and simulation models to the field of activity of SIDEL (material resistance, multiaxial fatigue, springs, rollers, reliability approach, numerical fluid mechanics (CFD)).
  • Conduct simulations of static, linear, dynamic, vibratory, mechatronic and CFD phenomena with SIDEL tools.
  • Lead optimization study to define the best compromise between constrains, parameters (numerical DOE, topology optimization)
  • Create simple models (1D or 2D, based on the bond graph theory) to analyze and predict the performance of systems. Here models are described using a combination of nonlinear time-dependent analytical equations that represent the system's hydraulic, pneumatic, thermal, electric or mechanical behavior
