Sidel is looking for a Mechanical Engineer. Based at our Le Havre site, he/she will be part of the mechanical engineering team in charge of the development of mechanical modules focus on aseptic equipment. Our equipment uses a wide range of technology allowing varied study perspectives. Don't wait to apply!

Votre mission

• Responsible of the study phase of parts, sub assembly or even full modules
• Accountable of design accordance to specification
• Accountable of design according to  technical feasibility , assembly and maintenance of the components.
• Autonomous in the management of the detailed tasks, securing the respect of the planning and time schedule.
• Manage technical problem solving, participating or organizing design review, qualification review, functional analysis, FMEA analysis, based on six sigma approach.
• Secure quality of assembly drawings, design models, calculation notes and functional analysis.
• Manage the non conformity by RCA approach, defining properly preventive and corrective action to implement quality continuous improvements.
• give proper supports to Supply chain (industrialization, quality derogation , resourcing, ….)
• Accountable to strictly respect compliance to Sidel design specification, Sidel design process and product evolution
• Respect process  for architecture governance (platform architecture, standardization principle, granularity rules, interfaces standardization level, modular cad approach).

Votre profil

With a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a Technical Institute, preferably obtained through a work-study program, you have a strong foundation in mechanical design and manufacturing processes. You are proficient in SolidWorks (AutoCAD is a plus) and have expertise in sizing mechanical components and transmissions, as well as understanding materials properties and structural analysis.

Your knowledge of standard and additive manufacturing processes and problem-solving tools (RCA, 5 Why, etc.) allows you to analyze and resolve technical issues effectively. A team player with a positive attitude, you are also flexible and willing to travel for short periods when needed for customer site surveys or machine issue analysis.

Native French speaker with professional proficiency in English.
