Sidel is looking for a Field Service Engineer (FSE) specialized on Mechanic as a Field Service Engineer you will take responsibility for testing and evaluating the performance of equipment at customer plants. In this role, you will ensure that equipment operates according to technical, contractual, and safety specifications while performing regular activities and troubleshooting on mechanical systems and HMI, in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

We are looking for a highly skilled Mechanical Field Service Engineer to become a key member of our team! In this exciting role, you will play a pivotal part in the installation, maintenance, and performance optimization of mechanical equipment at customer sites. Your expertise will directly contribute to customer satisfaction, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

 

Key Responsabilities:
  • Conduct thorough testing and performance evaluations of mechanical equipment, ensuring systems meet technical, contractual, and safety specifications.
  • Supervise the installation of new mechanical systems, upgrades, and options, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to customer operations.
  • Identify and manage equipment non-conformities, implementing corrective actions quickly and effectively to maintain system integrity.
  • Create detailed progress charts and technical reports, documenting all activities and providing transparent communication with internal teams and customers.
  • Ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and addressing customer needs professionally and promptly.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), customer-specific guidelines, and safety protocols to maintain operational efficiency and safety.
  • Recognize and report after-sales opportunities, collaborating with sales and management teams to offer additional services, parts, or upgrades.
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers on mechanical troubleshooting, best practices, and customer interactions, fostering a collaborative and learning-driven environment.
  • Maintain close communication with the Installation Site Manager, providing updates on team activities, progress, and technical challenges during on-site tasks.

Votre profil

Education:
  • Technical diploma or degree in a relevant field.
Language:
  • Proficiency in English (additional foreign language knowledge is a plus).
Skills and Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience in field activities, with a focus on mechanical or technical work.
  • Experience in the beverage industry is preferred.
  • A consolidated technical background with expertise in equipment maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of Sidel Portfolio is a plus (familiarity with Sidel equipment and systems).
  • Availability to travel approximately 180-200 days per year to customer sites for installations, maintenance, and support.
