Sidel is looking for two Field Service Engineers to be Embedded on one of his client's facility located in Kansas City, MO for a dedicated mission of 12 to 18 months assignment. Duties are to perform part of the Quality and Testing of the new aseptic equipment at the plant, be part of the commissioning, be present for the service, maintenance, CIL and troubleshooting of the Sidel Equipment at customer site. This is a long-term mission, and the candidate must relocate close to the plant, embedded within the customer staff, perform safety basics, food safety, maintenance coaching, CIL (Cleaning / Inspection and Lubrication) activities, prepare maintenance routine, analyze production data and plan, act accordingly, support the breakdown analysis and troubleshooting methodology along with the customer staff. Goal is to succeed in a knowledge transfer to the customer staff and reach an “autonomous operation” at the end of the mission.
Votre mission
- Apply, Coach and monitor Safety requirements (plant specifics/LOTO/GMP’s and HSES)
- Identify performance improvement opportunities at customer equipment, system, operations, identifying improvement affecting customer production and make recommendations to improve OEE in a sustainable way
- Support Sidel Trainer for Operators and maintenance staff Matric competency
- Coach & support operational activities, change over, and line conversion when applicable
- Supports all maintenance activities (CIL, SOP’s etc…)
- Develop along with customer OPL (one point lesson) as needed
- Coaching of customers staff for production and maintenance operations
- Supporting Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities
- Support root cause analysis (RCA) on site (or BDA: Breakdown analysis)
- Use Sidel data acquisition system to identify short term and long terms actions required on the line
- Provide recommendations on plant spare parts operations
Votre profil
- Bachelor’s degree engineering or Associate degrees in Mechanic, automation, maintenance or mechatronics.
- Experience in the beverage or packaging industry / Knowledge / Experience in aseptic environment is a must
- 3 years of experience in field and/or plant maintenance activities.
- Technical subject matter expertise on Mechanical, Automation, Electrical and strong capacity to coach.
- Fluent level of English is a must and Spanish, Italian and/or French is an advantage.
- Availability to travel at the beginning of the assignment due to training (including some international travels).
