Join our Service Engineering Department as a Filler Aseptic Automation Engineer, where you'll play a crucial role in automation activities across both our SIDEL portfolio and other filler systems. This position primarily focuses on aseptic fillers, offering you the chance to deepen your expertise while also expanding your knowledge of both new and legacy Sidel filler and mixer machines. As a referent for local automation team (administration), you will collaborate closely with colleagues and report directly to the Local Manager, making a significant impact on our operations. Your Mission

  • Manage the development of service automation software (standard and safety) until field test and customer support
  • Manage and develop software modification (standard and safety), in order to apply improvement solution on the installed machine, until field test and customer support
  • Software Inventory
  • Respect Guidelines & Rules in software development
  • Work with a strong relationship with hardware team and PLC/HMI team
  • Procure all technical documents linked to the software
  • Perfect understanding of electrical design, PLC/HMI design

Your Profile

Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field and possess fluency in both Italian and English, enabling effective communication in our diverse work environment. Your proficiency in MS Office and Outlook, along with a solid understanding of SAP, will be essential in streamlining our operations and enhancing productivity.

In this role, you will leverage your expertise in SIDEL filler Aseptic systems, whether Combi or Standalone, to drive our projects forward. Familiarity with PLC platforms such as Siemens S7 and B&R, as well as HMI systems like Zenon and motion control platforms from Danfoss, ELAU, and B&R, will be crucial. We value individuals who are customer oriented, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to deadlines.
