Your Mission

As a member of the innovation development team, you will be integrated within a project team focused on scouting and evaluating new technologies and solutions dedicated to fillers (analysis for other equipment within the group is also part of the role).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Define technical specifications for new developments, ensuring alignment with business and technical needs.
  • Propose and evaluate innovative solutions aimed at enhancing performance, sustainability, reliability, simplicity, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Take ownership of conceptual and detailed studies, evaluating technical feasibility, assembly processes, and maintenance requirements of new components and solutions.
  • Be fully responsible for functional analysis, including the execution of FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) and other critical qualification analyses to ensure that new technologies meet the required standards.
  • Manage and track detailed tasks, ensuring projects stay on track and timelines are met while adhering to Sidel’s established processes and quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, providing technical leadership and driving innovation across the organization.

Your Profile

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented engineer with a strong technical background and a passion for innovation.

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electronics, Automation, or related fields).
  • Several years of experience in technology development or engineering, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing environment. Experience with filling equipment technology is a plus.
  • Solid knowledge of functional analysis, FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis), and qualification processes.
  • Ability to propose creative solutions to improve product performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Strong organizational skills with experience in managing projects, meeting deadlines, and working with cross-functional teams.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
