Sidel is looking for a Business Development Manager reporting to the Director for Performance Based Services. This new role is essential to support and drive the sales and sales strategy for the corporate Performance Based Services team. He/ she will be instrumental in defining and driving the strategic priorities and initiatives to reach these goals. A deep knowledge of the Performance Based Services portfolio and associated customer benefits is essential and will be developed and leveraged for success. He/she will work closely with our regional performance based service teams and also with key marketing and sales’ teams to realize our ambitions.

Your Mission

PRODUCT STRATEGY & INITIATIVES

  • Prioritize and drive initiatives between the different products in the Performance Based Services portfolio to increase SAM and customer awareness and ultimately to increase sales.
  • Liaise with the Marketing and Communications’ teams to create and enhance commercial and promotional materials for use by our sales’ teams and our customers

REGIONAL STRATEGY & INITIATIVES

  • Strategize with Performance Based Services Director and regional teams  and with Regional Sales VPs and respective sales teams.
  • Prioritize initiatives to enhance sales, selectively by region, and by which products are best needed to make breakthroughs and to reach global sales targets.

NETWORKS & RELATIONSHIP DEVELOPMENT

  • Learning and building a network and associated relationships to enable the initiatives and sales ambition by region and globally.   Key teams and networks for collaboration will include Service Sales Teams
  • Equipment and Key Account Sales  teams
  • Global Performance Based Services team.

KEY DRIVER FOR REACHING SALES TARGETS

  • Regular meetings with Performance Based Service Director and regional Performance Services’ team leaders to track sales, open quotations and hot leads.
  • To support and facilitate the MBR (Monthly Business Review)process – both regionally and 

Your Profile

Level of education and languages:

  • Excellent English, written and spoken;
  • Fluency in French and/or Spanish and/or Italian is highly desired;
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering/ Manufacturing

Required experience and skills:

  • At least a basic knowledge of the Sidel equipment portfolio
  • A minimum of 5 years of equipment or services sales experience
  • Customer account management is a plus.
  • TPM or Lean or line assessment experience is a plus;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to motivate and inspire;
  • Proven track record of driving cross-functional initiatives;
  • Ability to interface with all levels of the organisation, both internally and externally;
  • Ability to work in complex, cross-cultural international settings.
  • Proven ability to inspire and lead change.
  • Availability to travel approximately 50%-60%.
