Your opportunity
Sidel is looking for a Quality Leader to be based in our plant in Mantova or Verona (Italy).
The role will report directly to the Quality Manager for Italy of Production Center Unit.
He/She is responsible for assuring Equipment quality during internal workshop operations and through proper inspections at incoming, maintaining quality requirements, overseeing the daily operations of the manufacturing/assembly site. He/She is the bridge between plant floor and management promoting/implementing quality strategy and procedures. The candidate will lead one team on Mantova and one on Verona plant.
Your Mission
- Assuring the quality of the products by implementing quality management measures in different departments
- Assuring the proper quality wall at incoming on parts delivered by supplier through verification of CTQs and of control reports/technical documentation received
- Supporting production and industrial engineering on proper application of controls in assembly through control cards
- Leading incoming/plant non conformities management with owners through final validation of RCA (5Why/Ishikawa)
- Support production and industrial engineering on the first analysis of plant non conformities for solution identification
- Promote proactively improvement of quality process of assembly operations (PFMEA)
- Participate to internal review regarding implementation of modifications by technical office giving feedback on phase in / phase out based on severity impact/priority
- Leading measurement tool calibration and measurement system validation of CTQs inside Capability plan (Gage R&R)
- Assuring Capability management through implementation/improvement of Cp Cpk on CTQs
- Supporting Supplier Development engineer on supplier performance evaluation and new part validation
- Coordinate two teams, balancing the workload and setting priorities
Your Profile
- Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent
- Knowledge of production processes
- Knowledge/consolidated experience of Lean production processes & Continuous improvement tools
- Knowledge/consolidated experience in 6Sigma (Mandatory Green Belt certification)
- Knowledge in the Implementation and use of continuous improvement tools
- Knowledge of technical drawing
- Fluent English
- Min 5-8 years experience in quality
