Join Sidel as a CTO Engineer and play a crucial role in driving engineering excellence for our customer projects! In this exciting position, you will be responsible for executing a variety of engineering activities, including the release of comprehensive Technical Bills of Materials (TBOM) encompassing mechanical, electrical, and software components. You will also manage personalized parts, layouts, and technical documentation, ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of quality and innovation. Your Mission
- Execute engineering activities for customer projects to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.
- Configure electrical schemes and develop comprehensive TBOM (mechanical, electrical, software, HMI) for packaging machinery.
- Release and manage full documentation including personnel parts, technical documentation, layouts, etc.
- Collaborate with Planners and ETO teams to ensure complete and accurate engineering deliverables.
Quality Responsibility:
- Ensure Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for any non-conformities and implement corrective actions.
- Regularly update the CTO database to align with engineering evolution, including configuration maps, part lists, layouts, and documentation master.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing initiatives to enhance engineering processes and drive efficiency.
Your Profile
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field, or a High School Diploma in Electronics or Mechatronics with relevant experience.
Language Requirements:
- Fluent in Italian.
- Basic English (Fluency in English is a plus).
Required Experience & Skills:
- Strong familiarity with SAP, PLM, and ePLAN systems.
- Design of Automation Hardware and systems experience.
- Experience with ePlan P8 Electrical CAD system.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and other relevant tools (additional experience with these tools is a plus).
- Competence in Software (SW) and HMI development is a plus.
- Previous experience with automatic machines in the packaging industry is an advantage.
- Strong focus on regulation and safety, ensuring projects meet the highest standards of compliance and quality.
- Ability to meet deadlines, manage commitments, and solve problems efficiently.
- Positive attitude, strong cooperation, and excellent interpersonal skills.
