Your opportunity
We are looking for a Pricing Manager (M/W) for our Capital Equipment Business. You will support the development of a new pricing model, and further own and maintain the model to ensure we have the most optimal prices to maximize profitability and market share. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams on market intelligence, quoting processes and tools. You will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and optimizing margin within Sidel. Join us!
Your Mission
Development and refinement of pricing strategy:
- Support the definition of the pricing strategy for capital equipment products in a clear way that makes it easy to operationalize.
- Prepare for, and engage in the regular revisions of the pricing strategy.
Development of pricing model:
- Develop and own a value-based pricing model that generate price lists for Sales.
- Ensure the model has strong alignment with the pricing strategies, as well as allowing easy maintenance and update of prices.
Regular price monitoring:
- Monitor daily the changes of parameters in the model that impact the prices and ensure the prices are always up to date.
- Run regular price updates to ensure the value drivers are optimized and generate the best prices. Work closely with the
- Pricing Analyst to estimate volume and margin impact of price changes.
Pricing Governance:
- Develop and maintain the price governance to ensure right approval levels.
- Work closely with Sales and approvers to ensure efficient approval process.
Ad-hoc deal support:
- Support Sales on an ad-hoc basis with pricing of key strategic deals. Ensure correct profit margin is calculated and support in seeking price approvals as needed.
- Work as the pricing expert towards Sales.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with Sales, Go to Market, Product Management, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure align pricing strategies with business goals and objectives.
- Collaborate closely with Controlling team to foresee cost changes and its impact on margin.
- Work with the Innovation team to price and commercialize new products.
Data Analysis and Insights:
- Work closely with Pricing Analyst and Pricing Intelligence Lead to ensure we do the right analyses and that we draw the right conclusions that impact prices.
- Continuously improve the analyses we do and the intelligence data we collect.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including pricing transparency, anti-trust regulations, and contract pricing policies, whenever applicable.
- Identify and mitigate pricing-related risks and vulnerabilities to protect the company's financial interests and reputation.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 5 years of proven experience in pricing management, quotation support, costing management or related roles, preferably in the capital equipment industry.
- Previous experience with a Pricing Management Tool, preferably in Value Based Pricing.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and modeling tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining pricing models that drive revenue growth and profitability.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Language: English is a must, Italian and French are a plus
