Electrical Engineer

Your opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineer to join our CTO (Confirgure To Order) team in Santa Maria da Feira. This role involves managing electrical projects from start to finish, ensuring quality standards, developing electrical diagrams and BOM (Bill Of Materials). The CTO Engineer will also be responsible for continuous improvement initiatives and provide support to workshop assembly and on-site installations. Our Santa Maria da Feira site in Portugal is one of our main production centres. It specialises in the manufacture of conveyors and packaging equipment, thus contributing to our mission of providing high-quality solutions to our customers all over the world. This site is equipped with the latest technologies and offers a stimulating working environment.

Your Mission

• Prepare comprehensive full BOM (Bill Of Materials) for each project.
• Oversee each project from Go-Manufacturing to Factory Acceptance Test (FAT).
• Participate in quality reviews to ensure project standards.
• Provide support to workshop assembly and on-site installation (remote assistance).
• Develop detailed electrical diagrams.
• Conduct continuous improvement projects within the CTO department.
• Support efficient on-site start-up and fault diagnosis, collecting feedback for improvements.

Your Profile

• Electrical engineering background with relevant qualifications.
• Familiarity with BOM and electrical design processes.
• Ability to manage projects autonomously and responsibly.
• Detail-oriented and rigorous in approach.
• Collaborative mindset, working effectively with various departments (Project Management, Purchasing, Workshop, Field Service Engineers).
• Proficient in software tools such as EPlan (P8), AutoCAD, and PLM systems (SAP preferred).
• Customer-focused with a commitment to quality.
• Capable of working and communicating in an international environment, with English proficiency at a B2 level as a minimum.
• Experience in SAP implementation projects is a must.
• Forward-thinking, with the ability to anticipate challenges and proactively address obstacles.
