Regulation Specialist Overwrapping, Conveying and Capfeeding (M/W)

Your opportunity

Sidel is looking for a Regulation Specialist for Overwrapping, Conveying, and Cap Feeding. As a Regulation Specialist, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the implementation of European and international regulations related to the safety of Sidel machines in specific areas of product conformity. You will work closely with Platform Owners, Engineering, and other functions to ensure full compliance of Overwrapping, Conveyors, and Cap Feeder machinery.

Your Mission

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement internal safety and compliance rules/guidelines for machine design.
• Provide support and documentation to engineering and service engineering teams.
• Create and manage the technical file for machinery compliance and safety (for the EU market and others), ensuring all necessary documentation to demonstrate Sidel's compliance with specific product requirements is available and of high quality.
• Coordinate interactions with external Notified Bodies or auditors as needed.
• Make decisions to halt technical design choices that do not ensure an adequate or acceptable level of risk.
• Conduct internal safety audits, propose corrective actions, and ensure their full implementation.
• Monitor the evolution of regulations and safety standards.
• Support the analysis and finalization of regulatory topics related to customer requests, offers, and deals when required.
• Drive and implement global safety processes.
• Lead, drive, or participate in global or local initiatives and projects related to Regulation & Standards topics as needed.

Your Profile

• Technical Master’s Degree or equivalent.
• Technical knowledge of Industrial Machinery (Packers, Conveyors, or Capfeeders is a plus).
• Understanding of Risk Assessment (deep knowledge is a plus).
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of French or Italian is a plus.
• Leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as in cross-functional and international teams.
• Proactive with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• High level of self-motivation.
